I went to the Albion Fair this year in hopes to possibly run into you. I noticed the fair was much larger since last I attended. On Thursday I went with my little niece and sister. I kept seeing people who reminded me of you and that kept me smiling. From the clothes they wore to the sounds of their voice a presence of you felt close.
I came back on Friday alone. As the daylight drew to the night I saw someone who looked a lot like you. I was playing some silly coin pushing game and two girls behind me were speaking with the carny stating they were 18 & 20 years old. The one asked me with a smile like yours and a similar looking face having the same glow; how I was able to get so many quarters. I was in a bit of shock when she lowered her head and I noticed she resembled you so closely. I would have said your name if I didn’t overhear the age. I assumed I was seeing things as I often do. That night I left with a smile and moist eyes. I wish I said your name.
I went back on Saturday alone and I won many prizes for many kids. It was nice to see so many smiling faces. I had hoped dearly to see yours.
